Hilsea Lido - 6th March 2020

We assembled at Hilsea Lido, with blue sky and bright sunshine, a perfect Spring day for a walk. Billee took us along paths that took us through woodland areas as well as urban footpaths, and back along the newly renovated and landscaped Walk. There were plenty of birds to see, and some people were lucky enough to see a Kingfisher.

Emsworth - 7th February 2020

There was an excellent turnout for the first walk of 2020. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, and we were all keen to get walking. This week’s walk started at the Emsworth Yacht Harbour Club car park. We wound our way through Emsworth’s back streets before reaching the sea shore, and coming back via the path round the Mill Pond. We passed various birds, lots of dogs, blossom on the trees, Spring flowers, and other walkers. Some of us retired to the Sussex Arms for excellent food, and beverages. Thank you to Caroline for organising and leading today’s walk.
