Tai chi is a series of movements and poses that originated in the Orient. It is a system of self-development with relaxed, fluid movements and recognised as being good for stress, balance, blood pressure and general health.

The group will follow Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan 88 Form, also known as 108 Form. Each class will commence with Qigong exercises and then continue to practice the Tai Chi moves, working through the Form. Instructor: Roger Longmore

It is a meditative form of exercise to which practitioners attribute physical and spiritual health benefits.

Some studies have found the practice to reduce stress and relieve certain ailments.
