Line dancing is a great way to exercise both the mind and the body – and make new friends. Our group has been going since October 2007, and many of the present 16 members have belonged since the beginning, but new people are always warmly welcomed. Friendships have been forged and there is a happy, friendly atmosphere at all our sessions. We work hard to learn new dances, under the instruction of our teacher, genial Mike Johnstone, and have lots of fun – and laughs – all the while. We have lunch together as a group once a term, which gives us more time for chatting in an informal setting.
