We are a small cheerful group who meet every 3rd Tuesday at 10.30am at Portsmouth Golf Club. Members research areas of interest and deliver their findings to the group, usually followed by a chat down memory lane!
May 2017
The Pub History Group made a visit to Upham Brewery, the micro brewery situated near Bishops Waltham. The Head Brewer gave us a very interesting guided tour and talked us through the brewing process. We learnt of various malts, hops, yeast and of course the end result had to be tasted and approved of!
July 2016
We had a trip to Gosport for a guided tour of the cooperage at Clarence Yard. We would like more members. We are a friendly bunch and would love to see you.
